My Web Development Prediction for 2025

I'm Marian, a senior software engineer who worked in Web development for over 10 years.

I prepared 5 points of what I think will happen in Web development in this year(2025).

1. Angular will compete to be the first choice for the development of new Web Applications
   The framework has matured significantly and offers a lot of features out of the box.

   In the last years, there have been many updates that developers loved.

   Other updates are being planned to further improve the developer experience.

   Angular is now a solid choice for building great Web applications.

2. Easier ways to use AI on the Web
   The leading AI companies will add additional features to their APIs. Developers will come up with innovative ways of using AI on the Web.

   Some of the Web's great benefits are that no company owns it and it can easily be accessed from different devices.

3. More traditional apps will integrate useful AI features.
   The number of developers familiar with the use of AI will grow and they will add interesting features to existing companies.

   Not just text or image generation, there will be additional features that would previously not be possible

4. Searching on Google will decrease in favor of AI services like ChatGPT Internet Search and Perplexity.ai.
   It will be interesting to see how these services will rank sites and what the new SEO will look like.

   Due to this change, we might see new winners in Web traffic.

   Soon, it might become very important to optimize Websites for AI.

5. Improvements in intelligence for AI
   Companies will start using more computing power leveraging the new hardware from NVIDIA and will improve their algorithms.

   We might even see breakthroughs in AI.
